One of the most frequent questions that I hear from the dental chair is, “But why do I keep getting cavities?” There are a lot of rote answers to this question and most involve passing the blame onto patients. And while impeccable oral hygiene helps prevent cavities, it isn’t the only reason why you may be prone to getting them.
